WHY DO YOU DO IT? WHAT DRIVES YOU?

I think it just comes from a place of pure curiosity. My motivation is knowing that I can always learn something new or interface with history and culture at any given moment.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU DO FOR SANITY MAINTENANCE?

Knowing that I'm able to stand on the frontier of something new or different. Constantly interfacing with ideas. People of the world drive me.

WHAT IS THE SCRAPPIEST THING YOU’VE DONE TO MAKE OR SAVE $$?

I want to make money. I'm starting to believe God gave me the knowledge and dedication to make a lot of money. So it's about just like… idk, doing shit. But also I often like this is in contradiction with being an anarchist.

YOUR TASK IS TO PRESCRIBE ONE BOOK OR FILM TO THE COLLECTIVE. WHAT IS IT?

PITCH BLACK (2000) directed by David Twohy. It's a very utilitarian sci-fi film with elements of Islam sprinkled in.

Current obsession?

AEW (All Elite Wrestling). Basically its a return to form in pro wrestling. All of the men and women are presented as real athletes and they wrestle with the intensity of a competition.

MOST USEFUL FAILURE?

I think social rejection is a useful failure. This can be on a micro or macro form, stuff like not being allowed into a club or being cancelled socially. Humans are tribalistic, so these moments cause us to recalibrate and think about what truly keeps the world going. These are elements that have been around for thousands of years.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING ON?

I'm constantly making AI hand collages with my printer and also buried deep in answering my Whatsapp messages. I often think about what it would be like to have a driver like Alfred from BATMAN, or what it would be like to not live in the Midwest.

DISCIPLINE OR ANARCHY?

Anarchy, of the Proudhon variety. Also some Chomsky.
